Funkiture: What a Cool Concept in Furniture Upholstering and Re-purposing: Not Your Usual Fare

From the Funkiture website, I could not have said it better myself:
"The basic concept behind "Funkiture” is recycle, renew, and reuse. We take a piece that's forgotten and old, yet made better than most new pieces today, and give it a new lease on life. From a traditional design with a twist to the intricately painted conversation piece, each item is reworked to bring out its once overlooked beauty. "
And how! This recycled and renewed collection is so incredibly rock star cool.

 "Skull and Bones"

 'Victorian Zebra"

"Iguana Vinyl"

"Carvings and Terracotta"

"Magenta Carvings"

I think Sharon and Ozzy would be a huge fan. But seriously, who doesn't love the idea of taking something old and worn out and restoring it to something even beyond its original beauty and/or purpose. I live for this kind of design.
